Good one. I never guessed

I never figured out who the killer was. The end took me by surprise. This episode was a good one about a naïve 16 year old girl who trusted too many guys. She was a cute kid & had a boyfriend that loved her so much. He's grown up now & married but when the blond cop starts questioning him she reminds him of her & his heart breaks all over again. He never stopped loving her. Reopening the case bring up feelings & it starts affecting his marriage. I was so happy when they figured out who killed her & arrested him. He's a very bad guy who hurt a lot of girls & he's not sorry for any of it. He made a comment about most of the girls being fat & couldn't get anyone to kiss them. Something like "who else were those fat whales going get to touch them? They should've been grateful." The guy was disrespectful & disgusting. At the very end they played Fleetwood Mac & hearing Stevie Nicks sing made me cry. I love this show.

This episode tears me up. A man whose only love was murdered is forced to rehash those horrible memories the night they were attacked.

Once the case is opened, the memories he had of her come flooding back. You see that he is married to a beautiful and caring wife who will always be second to the true love of his life. This is one of the most depressing episodes. The man is extremely likeable, but alone. The things he has are really never what he wanted. He was not the killer which I loved.

I would have loved to have seen him in an episode follow up. Great story.

I absolutely loved watching the Cold Case show! The season one finale, titled "Lovers Lane," was particularly captivating. The episode delved into an unsolved case from the past, and it left me both surprised and disturbed by its unsettling ending. The attention to detail in this episode was incredible. The music and flashbacks really transported me back to that specific time period, making the experience even more immersive. Despite the disturbing conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed the episode and appreciated the overall quality of the storytelling. It was a gripping and memorable viewing experience.
