When Diane tells Sam that Carla's son Gino is an "extraordinarily fine young man", Sam proceeds to ask her "which one is he"...to where Diane responds: "he's....who he is". But when Sam and Cliff force Carla and Diane into the office after they nearly go to blows....Carla tells Sam that she told Diane that Gino was his kid, and at this point Sam chuckles, and says "your kid, Gino?" and seems to know exactly which one Gino is.
Diane makes a very uncharacteristic grammatical error when she says, "Thank you, Sam, truly, for uh... getting Carla and I together at last." The correct pronoun usage in this sentence would be "Carla and me."
