Fear Is My Co-Pilot (#4.21)

A guy Diane dated after breaking up with Frasier in Europe comes by to visit her. He is a pilot and remembers her as a wild person but she disappoints him when she doesn't want to go fly with him. Then she agrees and brings Sam with her. On the plane Jack goes to the back and leaves Diane and Sam at the front, they go to check on him and find him dead. Now they are scared not to crash the plane. But as it turns out, he is alive and just played a prank on them.

I have seen such episodes before, where somebody has to land a plane when left alone on it, but this episode came out earlier than others and the ending is funner and more realistic.

Also it was very funny how Jack lifted everyone besides Norm!

When Diane was in Europe, she had a fling with a sort of Hemingway knock off. He shows up at the bar and is about as boorish as one can get, throwing his roughshod masculinity all over the place. Sam and Diane agree to go on a flight in his private plane and some interesting things develop. It's very intense.
