Marrying in the Dark Way

The Seer foresees that the son of Phoebe and Cole will be very powerful, and The Source, who possessed Cole's body, must bring him to the evil side marrying Phoebe in the dark way, i.e., in a cemetery with a dark priest and drinking the bride's blood. Cole sabotages the wedding and The Seer releases a Lazarus demon that resurrects when destroyed unless buried in a cemetery to force the ceremony to take place in a cemetery.

"Marry-Go-Round" is a great episode, with Cole totally possessed by The Source. His despicable spells succeeds and evil wins this battle. Coolio is very funny performing the Lazarus Demon and The Seer is the most Machiavellian character of this series. My vote is eight.

Here comes the bride

When Cole and Phoebe's big day approaches the unborn son seen in a vision can only be conceived in a dark wedding. The ep minors Piper's in many humorous mishaps with her dress being shrunk and her face cream breaks her face out in pimples. Poor Paige taking the brunt of it to separate the connection between the sisters and lure Cole's bride to the dark side.

Another aspect I loved is the Lazarus demon who can return from his funeral ashes to wreck the wedding. For one episode Coolio left a lasting impression and turned out to be one of the cooler human looking demons the show brought forth. Debra Morgan definitely continues to give me the chills as she sculpts Cole into her image and sets events in motion for her plans to ascend the underworld's throne. I would have to say I enjoyed this better then just hurried for the laughs, energy and great acting displayed so far this season.
