Just like Groundhog Day... but with a dragon.

Warning: Spoilers
I really like the way this episode is built: it begins with a scene that makes no sense, involving two white-clad gentlemen who are able to erase Wyatt from memory and history, along with everything associated with him... including said scene. This means that, as the episode really kicks in and the sisters quickly realize that they are forgetting something, we are just as curious as they are to retrace their steps and to learn how things got so messed up. And the best thing is that they STILL get messed up. (The same device had been used with great success in Charmed and Dangerous: know the danger, try to avoid it and run straight into it instead).

The rest of the episode is just as fun. Without Wyatt, Piper transfers all her mothering instincts onto her sisters and poor Chris cannot even remember what he's doing here -which leads him to finding other "hobbies" besides hunting demons. Fun! And it doesn't stop when the Charmed Ones manage to re-live the day before and realise that Wyatt's idea of "fun" is a tad extreme (but still, go Wyatt! Who hasn't dreamt of having their favourite TV show characters come alive?). The dragon is wonderfully done, and Piper's clever idea: to have Wyatt vanquish it by showing him that no, this is *not* a nice, safe pal, is a nice alternative to potions and demonic explosions.

Finally, the Cleaners neatly explain why magic was never busted despite everything that happened over the last few years, and the fact that they will be seen and mentioned again later on adds continuity to the show. (We might ask why they didn't intervene when the exposition of magic led to Prue's death, but that would be petty.) And the last part, when the Charmed Ones find ANOTHER great and innovative way of dealing with them, is just hilarious. Especially if you consider that they're basically doing the same thing Wyatt did, but on a much larger scale, and with the Golden Gate Bridge instead of a dragon.

So: an original plot with a lot of twists, good character work, a lot of laughs, and fantastic SFX. Who's complaining?

The One Where No One Remembers Wyatt...

Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode so much. It is one of my all time favorite episodes from the entire series. It's definitely one of the best ones from Season 6.

This episode opens with The Charmed Ones trying to get away from people called The Cleaners. They're there to take away Wyatt. And since neither Leo or The Charmed Ones can stop them, they take Wyatt away. The next day, no one remembers Wyatt. All things that would remind them are gone. Photos, toys, his crib, etc. Piper has some feeling that she hears a baby. And she has strange baby knowledge that she doesn't know how she knows. Phoebe gets in trouble at work because she started a riot the day before. Paige can't remember how she got a coffee stain on her shirt. This is because, to their knowledge, nothing happened yesterday. They think this is some kind of demon plot, so they cast a spell to fill in the blanks. It doesn't let them remember, but instead, it turns the day back to yesterday. Piper remembers that she's a mother and they have to work out what could've been so bad that they'd forget Wyatt. They find out that Wyatt conjured a dragon that wreaks the city. This is why Phoebe can't remember riot, because she heard about the dragon. This is why Paige can't remember the coffee spill, because she saw the dragon outside. They end up, once again, at the point where Wyatt is taken off them. But instead of forgetting, they continue to remember. As The Cleaners did not know that they had cast a spell. So, to get Wyatt back, they go on live television and perform magic, to get The Cleaners attention. They agree to give Wyatt back, if they can keep him under control. They erase all memories of the dragon, the magic on TV, and Phoebe's riot.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10.

Lost memory

Warning: Spoilers
The cleaners are forced to act when Wyatt exposes magic and erase him from existence. The charmed ones caste a memory spell to take them back in time to fill in the blanks. The episode attempts humor as Phoebe starts a fight at work, a man comments that a dragon look like an over sized bird and Piper keeps hearing a baby giggle while everyone thinks she's crazy. It feels forced in its depiction to be funny instead of letting it flow from natural talent instead of the scenes calling for it. Also I find the cleaners to be a terrible concept introducing them this late in the game as they take Wyatt away for conjuring the dragon and exposing magic. It opens up the question on where they were when they were exposed three years ago by Shax. They basically a Were allowing the world to find out about magic and I though Libris were in control of killing off anyone who finds evidence.

Also if the cleaners can stop memories from being erased why do they leave traces of Deju vu so the witches affected will come suspicious and travel back anyway making their job harder. Another ridiculous plot is Phoebe starting a fight at work yet keeps her job and Paige can knock a sexist boss out and not be arrested. Its terrible writing not set in reality and I don't know his the writers kept their jobs after this monstrosity.
