Migraine and Vampires
claudio_carvalho24 July 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Phoebe and Cole have moved to their new apartment and Cole prohibited Paige of orbing to his place claiming the need of privacy with Phoebe, but actually to protect his secret. Cole summons the most different factions of demons and proposes they should join force against the good. The dissident vampire queen sees the chance to defeat Cole biting Paige, transforming her in a vampire and turning Paige to her side. Phoebe, Piper and Leo find that the only way to save Paige is killing the vampire queen before Paige drinks human blood. Meanwhile, Phobe feels sick, faints and her doctor runs blood tests to find the reason of her migraine.

"Bite Me" is a good episode of Charmed. Cole is absolutely possessed by The Source, but protecting his offspring and consequently protecting Phoebe. Piper finally rings the bell and sees coherence in Paige's attitude against Cole. The pregnancy of Phoebe is promising since her cursed baby may cause troubles to the Halliwell sisters in the future. My vote is eight.

Where's Buffy when you need her?

Warning: Spoilers
Now that Cole has moved his new bride into a new apartment to rule the underworld, a vampire queen wishes to form an alliance with him, by turning Paige into her own creation. Meanwhile Piper feels depressed about not becoming pregnant yet and Phoebe has morning sickness. The episode is sly, sexy with the got new guests in town looking to satisfy an appetite. The vampire Queen and her minions costume went for a nice v neck line dress with pale skin and long gorgeous hair or black suits with sunglasses instead of over the top Dracula style attire. I could see why Paige may be attracted to the dark side when you look great and have fun while your at it without pesky guilt getting in the way.

Poor Piper's time clock tucking away and thinking of her daughter she saw in the future. Knowing the conception date is approaching quickly without success so far. Yet she says she hasn't been able to conceive because of magic, but as morality bites proved that isn't the case and her little sister finding out her bundle of horrors is on The way proves her theory wrong. The episode really made me care and feel sorry for each sister as they discover new twists, find new destinies and make choices that change their lives for better or worse.

There's a slight improvement this season.

Warning: Spoilers
« Saving private Leo » was a very good episode. But the scary/shocking moments, are still stripped away of any tension, and that annoying kid show score remains. With evil Phoebe, vampires is another series plot teased since season 1, and even though Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the ultimate vampire story, Charmed managed to create a version of the myth, closer and perfect for the spirit of the show. The demon faction and Cole as the new source storylines, are other elements that make this part of season 4 worth an attentive watch. Phoebe learning she's pregnant, and the creepy music after she fainted. Indicated the show was probably back from the cheesy tone it assumed lately...
