Did They Have Chip Dip at the Party?
Hitchcoc30 January 2021
The principle plot involves a swingers' party where one of the rich guests is found dead in a fountain. It's one of those where there are multiple suspects who were at the party. Every wife and husband looks like a fashion model. They are smug and arrogant when approached about their shenanigans. We eventually find out that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The second episode is another woman who was beaten to death at a casino. This is where the smell is the giveaway. We are introduced to a guy who makes a fortune, cleaning up after murders and other crimes. I'm hoping he will return. He is obnoxiously funny.

Swingers Party and Video Arcade
claudio_carvalho12 January 2023
When the body of Vanessa Keaton is found drowned in water fountain in a gated community and hit on the forehead, Grissom, Sara, Greg and Capt. Brass assume the investigation. Soon they learn that Vanessa was in a swingers' party, but the water in her lung is not from the fountain. They interview the owners of the house and guests and collect the water in the swimming pools to see if any of them match the water in the lungs of Vanessa. Mia examines the DNAs in the several condoms in the garbage bin. Meanwhile, Warrick, Nick and Det. Chris Cavaliere investigate the murder Mr. Basengi, the landlord of a video arcade. They find an eviction notice to the tenants are Melissa Poolie and Charlie Pinscher that become prime suspects. They visit Charlie that tells that Melissa was his girlfriend and left him with the rent. They learn from Marty Gleason, a member of the crime scene cleanup, that the place has a decomposed smell and Warrick and Nick find the body of Melissa hidden in a game and Charlie is brought back to the interrogation room.

"Swap Meet" is an episode of "CSI" with two good segments. The first one about a group of amoral couples with internal rules for the practice of swing that in the end do not work. The second one about two murders in the same place, and well-resolved by Warrick and Nick. My vote is seven.

Great episode, but.....

Catherine is the most annoying character on the show. Vain, conceited, whiny. Yes, give her a promotion. Gil is the only reason she hasn't been fired. Everyone else is great. 7 stars for having to watch Catherine breakdown.

special guest; Dina Meyer and Prince Taylor Vince
raframos329 July 2011
I do enjoy the inception of guest actors in a regular show. It adds some spice to the regular cast. In this case, Dina Meyer and Prince Taylor Vince are the guest actors and the producers of CSI hit a bullseye in employing these actors. Dina Meyer portrayed a sexy swinging housewife. Her role provided a provocative and intriguing character and she was dead- on target. Prince Taylor Vince stole the episode. His role as Marty Gleason, a crime scene clean-up contractor, brought humor to the episode. Gary Dourdan and George Eads could not hide their chuckling amid the scenes with Prince Taylor Vince. Terrific episode!

Estrogen extreme

In my review of the previous episode immediately prior I described it as "fun", this one is funnier, a level up a notch in the series so far. The script, acting and directing all clicked to produce this lighter side, given the ominous atmosphere of crime and the tragedies resulting from it. The lady guest characters are exquisitely beautiful to say the least, they are the prettiest in the series so far. Excellent casting choices from the creators of the show.

The soundtrack used are of particular note as well, pleasant to ears and is of rich quality, with an awesome choice of song.

The science used in the procedural again is not too far-fetched and easily understood by everyone. Excelsior!
