However GM spec Dextron is in fact a red fluid. When the CSI and police cars arrive at the mine, there are car tracks in the sand, possibly from an earlier shoot, but, if not, the CSI should have stopped short as, if the tracks were supposed to be seen, they could be evidence, especially as the mine was abandoned.
Warrick Brown incorrectly uses the slide hammer. He uses it to push the door open instead of pulling out the lock. A different character uses a slide hammer correctly later in the episode.
