The aspirant showgirl Julie Waters has been missing for six days and is the center of attention for the media. Out of the blue, the drunken photographer Howard Delhomme calls the police and says that "he never meant to hurt her". Grissom assigns Catherine to lead the investigation and find where Julie is, since Howard only wants to speak with her. Sara becomes jealous since she is requesting a promotion and the case is very important.

"After the Show" is an episode of "CSI" where the great mystery is to find the corpse of Julie Waters. The excellent Martin Donovan has an important role and is a plus in the show. Sara is the negative character in the plot with her attitudes. My vote is seven.

Bleak

This episode is sort of dark. A young woman is killed during a photo shoot. The chief suspect is a scary character whose history is checkered. He is so evil and so full of bravado, he manages to escape entrapment. Catherine is given the job of breaking him, but a body needs to be found. Her experience as a beauty gives her the chops to work her way into his head.
