Ending the world, not a terrific notion... But the thing is... yeah, I love you. I love crayon-breaky Willow and I love scary-veiny Willow. So if I'm goin' out, it's here.   Willow Rosenberg : You think I won't?

  Xander Harris : It doesn't matter. I'll still love you.

  Willow Rosenberg : Shut up!

  [casts a spell on him, so he bleeds from his cheek] 

  Xander Harris : I love you.

  [Willow casts another spell on him, making him fall over from pain and bleed from other parts of his body as well] 

  Xander Harris : I... love you.

  Willow Rosenberg : Shut up!

  [casts a spell again, but hits him weakly] 

  Xander Harris : I love you, Willow.

  Willow Rosenberg : Stop!

  [tries to cast another spell, but fails] 

  Xander Harris : I love you!

  Willow Rosenberg : [crying]  Stop!

  [Xander comes towards her, and she starts hitting him all over his body, but falls on her knees into a moving hug with him, with her bawling] 

  Xander Harris : [whispering]  I love you...

  [while still crying and hugging Xander, Willow's hair gradually becomes redder and her veins disappears, allowing the old Willow to appear] 

• Dawn Summers : Where are we going?

  Xander Harris : I have no idea.

  Dawn Summers : What?

  Xander Harris : I don't know, okay? I can't even run away well. That's something I'm usually good at.

  Dawn Summers : Maybe we should go back and help.

  Xander Harris : Yeah, 'cause I've been such a big help already. Standing around like a monkey while Buffy gets shot. Tara's dead and Willow's... losing...

  Dawn Summers : Well feeling sorry for yourself isn't helping either, Xander, okay...? You know, if Spike were here, he'd go back and fight.

  Xander Harris : Sure, if he wasn't too busy trying to rape your sister.

  Dawn Summers : [stunned]  What?

  Xander Harris : Forget it.

  Dawn Summers : I don't believe you.

  Xander Harris : Fine.

  Dawn Summers : He wouldn't do that.

  Xander Harris : Is this blind spot, like, a genetic trait with the Summers women? The only useful thing Spike ever did was finally leave town.

  Xander Harris : Oh, no. You're not the only one with powers, you know. You may be a hopped-up uber-witch, but this carpenter can drywall you into the next century.
