Warning: Spoilers
"This are the girls I should be hanging out with anyway" listening that quote was something. It's just illustrate, and confirmed by itself with words, what I always thought about him and his love life : more than considering girls as objects (which he does), he's putting himself so low that he's just considering girls making themselves shown as brainless as inconsistent and just using their physics to attract him are the only suitable ones for him and a girl with something more than just his usual ones whom he snogs with is way out of his league and then great for Cory, just to good for him. That's very sad how little he's considering himself, as if being good looking and a good kisser is the only thing he can deliver to a girl which it's so not true. I hate seeing him putting himself that down and even worst : considering that as a normal, legitimate and inherent fact. During the entire episode, I just wanted to huge him so badly. "All I know is that, all through the dry turkey, knowing you were going out with Dana, I kept wanted to just take the knife and stab you in the head... no offence" it was said so genuinely, so softly and with his really sorry face for having thinking this way to Cory, for God sake who could resist him when he's like this all off of guard and vulnerable 😍. Finally we can see him falling for somebody, I waited for that moment for so long. Now, it seems to me that it's his real first crush sure but a temporary one which is fine with me, the girl is too judgemental, boring and dull. I want to see him with a a real consistent girl, with guts and personality and not a goody goody one. Anyway, all the harsh things he had to hear was necessary despise the fact it made him feel miserable and cheap. All the things Topanga told him is so obvious for anyone but him and not having any knowledge about how people is considered you in that kind of subject is alarming. I mean being a player as for a guy than a girl is not a bad thing as long as you know it and then know your gonna have a permanent fame. If you don't give a damn about it, it's totally cool but for the one who doesn't or are not that proud of it when they really began to like someone well it can put you in danger of loosing the opportunity to live something really meaningful with that person and how painful it can be. Finally we got the show pouting that out about Shawn. In his case, being a player is not that innocuous : the unconscious fear getting attached, been hurt and left out, let's see how the show's gonna explore that. Finishing, way to go Eric.
