Don't you think he knows that you know that he knows?

Warning: Spoilers
Eric and Cory are dreading the annual Father & Son softball game because their Dad takes it way too seriously. They try to get their Mom to get them out of it, but she says no. They plan to conjure up excuses, but their Dad says the game is canceled. At school, Topanga reveals that the game was played after all and that Cory's dad was nowhere to be found. When Cory & Eric realize their dad lied, they do everything possible to make it up to him. This is a great episode, what else is new for this series? Before I comment further with my thoughts, I couldn't resist doing this. What was up with Cory's mom Amy in this show? She is usually a chipper and vibrant woman. She is cranky and easily irritable in this one, and somewhat detached from everything. It's never explained why she is acting like this either. Cory and Eric don't find it strange, nobody does. I'd be asking questions like crazy. In all honesty, it was rather cool to see. It's realistic and proves that even the warmest people have their breaking points, but they didn't delve into it all. I hate when that happens. I like this one because it reminds me that family commitments can be more important than some of yours. Good parents don't usually ask for much and I think it is a good reminder that it's great to think of your parents once in a while. Morgan steals a scene in the beginning, thanks to her sugar rush. Mr. Feeny and Shawn don't have much to do, Topanga has a couple of key scenes

Additional Note: There is a funny twist at the end credits.

Favorite quote. Eric: If you can't hold your sugar, you shouldn't do breakfast
