Out of the Cold and into the Fire

Warning: Spoilers
Another episode where Shawn's character is tested and lessons are learned.

A glimpse at life on "Easy Street" and weighing the cost of those choices and where that road leads. Also another moment where true friendship is shown.

Shawn never had it easy, was never given a break, was always challenged to do more and be more.

And after seeing what hard work was like at life on the docks he saw a shot at life in the fast lane was on the table and he took it for a chance at some quick money and the ability to show generosity towards his friends. It was a chance to get out of the hard work in the cold and easy work in the fire, working for the mob. All that can come at a cost though - but before the deal goes through his friend steps away from his home and time with his family to go out and help Shawn and remind him of the truth and that he's not alone in this.

Another episode to my list of favorites.

Road of life

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know but lately, Cory and Shawn dynamic took a next level of silliness and fun, they always had been fun together but since few episodes the level is higher than ever and I love it. As soon as they're having scenes together I'm like "ok, bring it on, I'm ready to have my jaw pain getting worst". I mean the snore scene come one, they were so on the same page. The one on the kitchen with poor little Shawn all cold by his stink job and snapping on Cory as a maniac. It also took a huge step on the deepness of their relationship. Cory worked for the mob being clueless until Shawn made it realize it then his immediate choose was to quite. Then Shawn took his place attracted by the easy money but mostly by the use he could make with meaning please his family and friend, being able for the first time on his life to buy them "good" gifts, well expensive ones. Also, we can clearly see that his road stay unclear for him because of his still deep lack of self esteem and consideration he should have for himself. And as always, we got Cory right beside him holding him to stay in the good side of the road and not falling on an endless hole. It's incredible how little respect Shawn is still according to himself and how low is still putting himself. Hopefully Cory is always alerted to make him stay the nearer possible to the light but the darkness are still there and the fight is by far not over... who's knows, I'm not into the kind of relationship where a girl is saving the a to auto destruction just by the power of love because he can lead to destroy herself in the process and I find it especially toxic to both of them. But I think that maybe, someday, if he meets a girl looking at his soul and loving him for it (and god he has a pure one, so white he could make anybody blind) as much as his family and friends does, maybe he'll be more dispose to fight the darkness surrounding him all the time and truly get his path cleaned up from all the fog darkening it. But the necessary part here is finding himself, accepting what he'll find meaning all the the positive as the negative, absorb it and finally find peace onto himself. That's the most important, way more than romantic relationship but still I want to see how he'd manage really falling in love and receive as much love as he gives to so much people from a girl who truly could see through him and how much he's worthy as an human being.
