This show never seems to get tired of emotionally gut punching Shawn when he actually thinks he's gonna have a chance at happiness. Just when he and Angela are in a really good place her father who was instrumental in them getting back together shows up and asks her to come with him to Europe for a year. We as the audience know what this will do to Shawn if she agrees and watching it unfold is really heart-wrenching. While I understand Angela wanting to spend time with her father and Shawn wanting her to be happy and letting her go because he doesn't get to have that chance anymore, I wish he'd fought a little harder to keep her because while he was prepared to propose he still let her leave and when she leaves the student union and he says goodbye you can see by the Look in his eyes, the tone in his voice and the way he is standing that he is heartbroken. This does however leave him able to move on with Cory and Topanga in the series finale.

Why write Angela out? With one episode to go, why write her out of the show?
Just utterly bizarre. It's geniunely like the writers gave up in the finale season and thought lets just throw any old thing in.
This would have make more sense seasons ago but not now. Now it's just making the finale weaker.
