A man ends up in hospital, after being viciously attacked by a hammer, Tosh and Boulton are on the case, they encounter Josie, who knows the victim well.
Very good, a really unusual story, after a dramatic start, one which features some pretty brutal ideas, it becomes a clever, imaginative watch. I like the dynamic of the characters, they're not the usual relationships you get on the show.
A very charismatic perfornance from Heather Peace, who played Josie, she really did bring the character to life.
We once again see just how remorseless Sergeant Boulton is, he literally will do anything to get an arrest, deals mean nothing.
