A gem of an episode

Most of the comedy in this one is thanks to Aunt Clara . Clara is Samantha's favorite aunt and Darrian is very fond of her too. It's not hard to see why. She's sweet and caring but a little goofy and often befuddled. This time she causes a blackout on the east coast. Like she said " knocked out the power in 12 states . Could happen to anyone " . What Aunt Clara does comes into play with one of Darrian's ad campaigns and actually helps him sell his slogans. The script is sharp, clever and funny. Her boyfriend Ocky also plays a pivotal role in helping sell the ad idea to a particularly disingenuous client.

There is even some good stuff with Gladys and Abner Kravitz. Overall one of my favorite episodes.

Aunt Clara causes a power failure on the East coast.

An amusing Aunt Clara episode. Samantha and Darrin are at the Tates' with a client while Aunt Clara babysits. She makes a piano shrink in size but in a funny scene it restores to natural size on the stairs. Mrs. Kravitz walks in at that moment. When asked about it, Aunt Clara says "What piano?". Clara's old boyfriend Ocky (Reginald Owen) gets the lights on only in the Stephens house. Another funny scene when he disappears but his shoes walk out the door by themselves.
