The Crone of Cawdor Lived For Another 25 Years!
richard.fuller131 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
A 'bewitched' client, Terry Warbell, a young 24-year-old, is taken over by the Crone of Cawdor, an ancient old woman who must get a kiss before midnight to become young again, and she has Darrin in her sights.

Amusingly notable episode once again for the working together of Endora and Samantha, this time largely engineered by Endora.

Check out Endora portraying a busy-body woman who works in the fabrics industry and realizes Terry Warbell knows nothing about the biz.

Also has some bits with Gladys Kravitz getting incredibly close to witch shenanigans when Terry Warbell shows up at her door as the old crone.

Speaking of the crone, Dorothy Neumann, who plays the part, would live almost thirty years later before passing.

🏆 EXCEPTIONAL BEWITCHED EPISODE
floridacalisurferboy29 January 2022
🌟 THE CRONE OF CAWDOR is one of those extremely well written and performed episodes of BEWITCHED that uses a creepy witching hour like tale with the comedy we come to expect... EVERYTHING about the episode is so much fun to watch... The creepy witch legend, the old crime, the body substitution, the eerie poem, and that it's all happening to someone as obnoxious as Darrin.. 😆 What more can you ask for? It's a real gem.. Don't Miss It.

Perfect episode

Warning: Spoilers
A spooky feel to this episode without going overboard.

Darrian is largely oblivious until the end but it's amusing to watch as he realizes Samantha was right.

Endora is amusing as well as amused in this episode. She is also helpful and a little low key for Endora . She helps Sam remember a favorite bedtime story to solve the mystery of a dazed and confused Terry Warbell and how Darrian is in danger.

I don't know what it is but Elizabeth Montgomery is particularly radiant in this episode.

Gladys Kravitz has her moment unfortunately for Abner . Samantha also is quite blasé about Gladys in this episode and doesn't worry about what she may think she saw.

Not one of the hilarious or silly episodes but a highly amusing and enjoyable episode with a dash of sophistication.
