There are so many "10 star" episodes in this first season.....at least in my opinion....and this is one of them. I always look forward to seeing this episode again, as I view the first 5 seasons on DVD. (I only have Dick York DVDs. Don't care for Dick Sargent)
The guest stars were just wonderful: Marion Lorne again, with her door knobs and all-knowing umbrella; Robert F. Simon as Darrin's Dad; and special kudos for Mabel Albertson as Darrin's Mom. In every appearance during the run of this series, Albertson is just wonderful.....always coming down with another sick-headache. She's priceless.
And behind it all, the beauty and charm that is Samantha.....and the honest open-faced Darrin. Oh my, such a wonderful job of casting.
