Watch For the Tabitha Ad-Lib, and the Montgomery-Moorehead Save
richard.fuller17 October 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Fairly typical episode with Endora putting one of a famous artist's pictures in an auction with Samantha's signature on it.

Fairly typical results.

But watch for an interesting exchange with young Erin Murphy, who was apparently a little keyed up as she and Elizabeth Montgomery enter the front door after an outing.

We first hear Montgomery have to control Tabitha from taking off somewhere, perhaps upstairs or something.

Then Endora pops in. The two women begin the conversation about the painting.

Suddenly, Tabitha bolts for the kitchen, with Montgomery right behind her.

Elizabeth catches Tabitha in the doorway, neither female getting out of the camera's shot, then she brings her back into the living room.

Endora was completely removed from the shot, but both women manage to carry on with the conversation, completely oblivious of the typical child behavior of young Tabitha.

Absolute professionalism.

Typical Interference by Endora

Cute episode of Bewitched even if it's a typical example of Endora interfering and causing problems. Goof: Samantha's bedroom fireplace and bathroom color are exactly the same as the Tate's. Same set used in both scenes.
