This episode is a repeat of A Vision of Sugar Plums (1964) with a new cold open introduction, perhaps due to Elizabeth Montgomery's maternity leave.
The title is from the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" by Clement Moore first published in Troy, New York in 1823:
"The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;"
