Exact remake of first season episode

Warning: Spoilers
This is exactly the same episode as in season 1.

I think they didn't even bother to change the dialogue in most parts.

The only thing they changed in this episode is the client and the campaign Sam helped Darrin with. Then it was a campaign about soup, now about matresses.

I haven't seen this series since I was a kid (reruns somewhere in the late 70's). And I remembered loving it and after rewatching it now I still love it.

But I have to say the older seasons are a lot better.

The best seasons were when Marion Lorne (who played Aunt Clara) was still in it. It's sad she died and they replace her with a very uninspired, stupid character as the babysitter Esmeralda. And I also prefered the old Darrin. Maybe they should have cancelled the show when Darrin decided to quit for his health.

But the lesser seasons were worth rewatching because Samantha and Endora are brilliant.

This is a remake of Season 1 Episode 5 "Help,Help Don't Save Me that premiered on October 15,1964-Darrin accuses Samantha of using witchcraft to help him with his campaign of Caldwell soup. Darrin strikes out with Caldwell at a meting, but promises to give him a better campaign. He gets home and argues again with Samantha, that has her leaving him.. Darin shows Larry the campaign that Samantha came up with, and he is please, but Caldwell isn't because its too gimmicky. He realizes that he was wrong and goes back home to apologize to Samantha, who wasn't very far. She inspires Darrin with a slogan and he finds it.

Samantha And Darrin Argue

Sam comes up with some ideas for one of Darrin's ads, he thinks she used witchcraft.

A weak Season 8 episode. Endora pops in and out quickly, not saying much. She reserves a spot on Cloud 9 for her and Sam. Only amusing scene is Sam being invisible to spite Darrin.
