  Dylan McKay : Nat, it's just... what happened is...

  [a pause. Dylan considers telling Nat about Kevin and Suzanne stealing all of his money, but at the last moment he decides not to] 

  Dylan McKay : [waves his hands]  Look... l'm having a rough spot right now. I don't want to talk about it.

  Nat Bussichio : ls it Kelly?

  Dylan McKay : I don't know. Maybe!

  Nat Bussichio : [mimicking Dylan]  "l don't know. Maybe".

  [Dylan enters his car] 

  Nat Bussichio : What do you expect? You take off all summer! You don't write! You don't call! You can't blame her for going to Brandon!

  [Dylan suddenly freezes. Then he turns to face Nat] 

  Dylan McKay : What did you say?

  [Nat slumps back and sighs. In view of Dylan's facial expression, he realizes, too late, that Dylan had no idea Kelly is now Brandon's girlfriend]
