  The Scarecrow : He says scum like us must be kept in line. That's why he chains us down at night, and electrifies our doors!

  Scarface : He held me over a can filled with termites, ya hear me? TERMITES!

  Harley Quinn : He's an animal!

  Arnold Wesker : A monster!

  The Scarecrow : Keep him away!

  Lyle Bolton : Shut up! All of you!

  [after a struggle between Bolton and the orderlies, he rushes to kill the inmates, only to be tripped by Wayne. He again is restrained by them] 

  Lyle Bolton : You're all scum! You should be beaten within an inch of your misbegotten lives!

  Dr. Bartholomew : I've seen enough!

  [bangs gavel] 

  Dr. Bartholomew : Lyle Bolton, you're dismissed!

• Batman : I've seen how you treat your prisoners. Forgotten and scared, without hope or compassion.

  Lock-Up : Can it be you actually care for those creatures? You're just as crazy as they are!

• Lyle Bolton : Congratulations, Professor Crane. You're the first inmate to escape Arkham under my charge.

  [Scarecrow whimpers with fear as Bolton grabs him] 

  Lyle Bolton : You're also the last. I won't let you and the people of Gotham City down again, Batman.

• Summer Gleeson : Mr. Bolton, any comments about your dismissal and the charges of extreme behavior?

  Lyle Bolton : This city is an open wound begging to be stitched.

  Batman : By kidnapping innocent victims? I don't think so.

  Lock-Up : If you're not part of the solution... then you're part of the problem.

• Commissioner James Gordon : I see your taste in prisoners is improving, Bolton.

  Lock-Up : You have three seconds to release those bars.

  Commissioner James Gordon : If you let us go now, Bolton, I can guarantee leniency.
