Blackout is the debut episode of the shapeshifting saboteur Inque who is hired by Derek Powers to wipe out competitors to building a spaceship for someone. We get a good introduction to her character and how she squeeze herself through the tiniest cracks in everything to destroy it. Reminds me a little of the symbiote from Spider-Man in design, but still her own unique character.
Derek Powers' presence is still the highlight, both when he talks to Bruce Wayne and Terry. The tension is now even more exciting, because of his newly acquired condition after being exposed to the dangerous chemicals in the previous episode which causes him to shed off his skin. Pretty awesome and adding such mildly graphic images to the show.
If DP had been shown directing Inque in her mission this otherwise great episode would have gotten a 10.
