After re-watching Batman Beyond to review every episode, I here and there get surprised by some episodes I didn't remember. This was one of them, and it really got under my skin.
Dr. Corso is a pretty awesome character in this stand-alone episode, because of his dilemma between keeping this gang of criminals satisfied by enhancing their physical strength with his cybernetic skills and by that keeping his wife alive.
Terry and Bruce have a couple of good conversation in here which brings out some of the show's dead-pan humor. The technology used by Dr. Corso is pretty cool and shows awesome designs on the cyborg gang. But do you remember Willie Watt from earlier in the show? The gang's boss, Bullwhip, look eerily similar to him in my opinion.
But enough about that. Dr. Corso finds out that keeping the gang satisfied is not that simple and he discovers that with time which leads us to a great twist and the best use of an open ending in this series so far. And believe me, it's a rather gruesome ending if your mind pictures the same as I did.
