Season five for Babylon 5 was, generally speaking, a disappointment. As the Shadows AND the Earth had been defeated, there were no enemies when the season began and the episodes just seemed to be in limbo--probably because originally there wasn't even supposed to be a fifth season.
Considering that this episode involves Bester, it's amazing that it's as dull as it was. Usually Bester is good for an action-packed episode, but instead it's as if the episode is placed in neutral and nothing really is resolved. Worse, the telepaths on board really are a tad annoying--like having the sip overrun by hippies who break into choruses of songs like "We Are the World" as they sway back and forth. Yuck--I wanted some action, not a live action version of "Wee Pals".
