Thanks to Wayne and his antics the lads find themselves, persona non grata with every landlord in the vicinity.

They are forced to settle for dossing down at the Manor, with Wayne feeling the chill wind more than most.

Ally Fraser has to reconsider his available options, regarding the possibilities of renovating Thornley Manor. In conversation with the con who flogged him the place, the two formulated what they considered a prize money minting scam.

While visiting the local church Barry learned something of the history of Thornley Manor, of the original owner's treatment of an unwanted guest.

Fraser wants "No corner uncut" as he'd "spent enough money on this project" in his plans for the Thornley Manor.

The Gang find a stash of videos that prove enlightening, about their unfriendly local publican Arthur Pringle.
