Another run-in with the Drago-Kazov as Andromeda escorts a medical convoy to a plague hit planet
Tweekums31 May 2018
When a plague threatens ninety five percent of a planet's population the Andromeda volunteers to escort the convoy carrying vital medical supplies through Drago-Kazov space. Beka is left in charge of the Andromeda while Dylan and Tyr head off to infiltrate the Nietzschean base to neutralise the weapons systems that would threaten the convoy. The operation has only just got underway when things start to go wrong; one of the ships in the convoy fails to appear at a jump point so Baka goes back in the Eureka Maru to find it. She helps it back to the convoy but is damaged in a fight with Nietzschean fighters. She destroys two and damages a third; it is then a race between her and the pilot of the Nietzschean ship to get their ships operational. Back on Andromeda Harper is soon forced to make difficult decisions.

Once again we get an episode that is effectively three separate but related stories; each of which is pretty solid. Seeing Beka work to fix the Maru while exchanging messages with the Nietzschean pilot who taunted her was fun and led to a poignant finale to their plotline. The scenes with Dylan and Tyr provided most of the excitement as the battled the Nietzschean defenders and Dylan finally learnt just what Tyr did to upset the Drago-Kazov... something that could permanently affect their relationship. Kevin Sorbo and Keith Hamilton Cobb on good form in these scenes. The scenes back on Andromeda were perhaps the weakest, largely because Harper's whining can be irritating, they still provided some excitement. Overall this was a good episode with plenty of action; solid character development and a couple of surprises.
