This is a corruption of a modern phrase, 'and the horse you rode in on', usually used as an intensifier to an insult ie. 'curse/screw (or any other chosen verb,) you and the horse you rode in on'. Horses used to be very important animals, before cars were invented, and it was once considered a low blow to insult a man's horse.
