While Andromeda continues to be repaired Dylan, along with Beka, Trance and Tyr head to a remote world to find President Ortiz, the leader of a system of planets who has gone into hiding after the aggressive Calderans attacked some years before. Dylan believes that, with help, she can help reunite her system and join his new Commonwealth. They track her to a bar in a remote mining settlement where they identify her as the local doctor... she however insists that they have the wrong person. Either way they are in trouble as the Calderans arrive shortly afterwards and start attacking the bar. As the assault continues tensions rise and some in the bar think they should just give Ortiz to the Calderans.
It you like episodes with lots of exciting action then you should enjoy this one as once the Calderans attack the action is fairly non-stop. Much of this is just weapon flashes but there is also so hand to hand combat. This is intense enough to leave one of the main cast needing medical treatment and ultimately a couple of deaths amongst the defending locals. The fact that most of the episode takes place in a confined space adds a sense of claustrophobia to proceedings. There is a decent twist part way through the episode that isn't too obvious but once it occurs makes sense. The cast do an impressive job making us believe that their characters are in real danger. Overall a great action packed episode.
