A old friend of Morticia's Lionel, arrives for a stay at the Addams' house, causing Gomez to become jealous.
A good episode, a standard sitcom plot but with some usual dark Addams humor. Lionel is really trying to sell some stock to the family. Gomez hires a plain Jane maid thinking Lionel will be attracted to her and leave. Morticia then becomes jealous when she sees Gomez with the maid. There is some black humored moments when Gomez becomes depressed and asks Fester and Lurch to kill him. It was scenes like this that made this show a bit edgier than other sitcoms at the time.
