Did you know
- TriviaThey could only have 4 of the 7 castaways because Tina Louise would never play Ginger again. Jim Backus was at this point too sick to play Thurston Howell III, and it would have made no sense to have Natalie Schafer play Mrs. Howell without Mr. Howell. So Ginger and The Howells are only mentioned.
- GoofsNo explanation was given for where the Howells and Ginger were when Alf was on Gilligan's Island. Seems unlikely Alf would not even ask. Actually he did ask, and was explained to by Gilligan that the Howell's built their own resort on the other side of the island, and Ginger went off to live with them them and they don't let the others in there much.
- Crazy creditsAt the end of the closing credits of episode, Alf is heard laughing.

A blend of 2 Shows of which if there was a rescue then there wouldn't be a show.
Yes One Time I was talking with my Older Brother J.Kevin about how ALF and Gilligan's Island are both shows of which if there was a rescue then there wouldn't be a show.I then Showed him the follow-up of this episode in The TV Guide with the Picture of Alf with the 4 Castaways who appeared in the episode and then I said to him how before we were both talking about how "ALF" and "Gilligan's Island are both shows of which if there was a rescue then there wouldn't be show I then said "Prophetic right?"Then he Said "Yes ridiculous!"I mentioned this to him on a latter day and how we had that discussion and he said "Yes and then they put the 2 shows together."I said how he even said "Ridiculous." Then he said "Yes because it's a very ironic comparison."Also what brought this up was how when This Couple from Alf's world came to visit him and he could've gone with them but he decided instead to stay with The Tanners.Meaning the show would've stopped there if ALF got Rescued. In this episode it also showed how The Castaways hadn't done this that and the other thing for 23 years. But when all doesn't agree we can just call it a parallel earth story.Like in "Rescue from Gilligan's Island" when The Castaways didn't get back to the other things from the original show's run like both The Fake Mr.Howell who got away with the real Mr.Howell's wallet before returning to the mainland. Also Eva Grub of whom signed the note in conclusion signed "The New Ginger Grant."But one thing this show does agree with was from "The Castaways on Gilligan's Island."When upon returning to The Island later they'd turn it into a Vacation Resort to make the most of having come back. While in this they never got off the Island and Ginger and The Howell's As The Skipper said Started one on the other side of the Island and then asked Alf "How do you know about us?"Yes this was a dream sequence of which resulted in Alf falling to sleep after turning the Tanners backyard into Gilligan's Island to make it more like a paradise of which he told Mr.Tanner and then was told by him not just to undo what he did but that it's not what he thought and at the end of the dream sequence by Mr.Tanner from the TV of which the skipper pointed to saying "Oh look let's watch TV and here's the Show of which is called "The Tanners."Yes With Mr.Tanner saying "I thought you said Gilligan's Island was a paradise."Then Alf said "Okay so I was wrong."After which he then awoke from that dream.
Truthfully,Stephen "Steve" G. Baer a.k.a."Ste"of Framingham,MA USA
P.S. As any of you recall from reading any of my reviews from before it was my Older Brother J.Kevin who came up with Ste for me and being a year older than me and unable to say Stephen at the time and of which was why I couldn't be brought up to prefer Stephen.
P.P.S. Whether written as ALF of which on The Show was a coinage of Alien Life form or Alf you can't go wrong and his real name is Gordon Chumway and pronounced Shumway if I recall right and I'll check out which show/ episode that it was mentioned in and whether or not it was Brian? Yes Brian a.k.a. "B."as his Dad Willie sometimes addressed him as.
