A Small and Deadly War
Prismark1025 November 2019
This episode is obviously inspired by the Dirty Harry film, Magnum Force.

A honest cop is threatened by a SWAT team as it appears that he might have evidence against them. The cop knows they have been hired to kill people as an extracurricular activity. With his wife and daughter threatened, he calls in The A Team.

Hannibal and the gang uses hidden bugs to find out what the SWAT team have been up to. One of them played by Dean Stockwell appears to be a weak link, he already wants out.

Just a few episodes in to the first season, this is already a fun series. Everybody has their persona down to a fine art. Only Mr T's body double has mohican hair issues.

Magnum Force, A-Team style

Warning: Spoilers
The fourth episode of THE A-TEAM and it's another solid adventure, guilty only of wasting the presence of Dean Stockwell in a tiny role. This one's a little like the plot of MAGNUM FORCE, with Hannibal and his buddies going after a team of renegade cops who have been committing some very extra-curricular murders. The story has humour and action in spades, plus all of the usual over the top camaraderie that fans of the series love.

The A-Team vs the swat
coltras3520 November 2021
A police inspector calls on the A-Team to help him end the activities of a corrupt SWAT team who are hiring themselves out as hitmen.

Another inventive idea turning SWAT team into assassins for hire on the side, but the A-Team are on the case, adeptly bugging them and giving them a runaround. Enjoyable episode with a sneering performance by Jack Ging.
