**SPOILERS** Someday, I'm gonna listen to what I say, and do what I say I gonna do. The last time (which was just last week) that I reviewed one of these episodes, I said I was done. Obviously I lied. I shoulda took my own advice. The reason, I swear, that I decided to watch this one was because Ruta Lee was in it. Yeah, sure; for about five minutes, tops. And believe me, and I know I said this before, too; they needed a lot more of Ruta than anyone else in the show.

Remember what I said about hiring Stu for a bodyguard? Same thing, only this time it's the kid himself that successfully gets away from the intrepid Mr. Bailey. Just walks away into the desert to learn how to be a Boy Scout. He's got the current(for the time) Scout Manual, and I know, I had the one previous and this same one myself. Genius StuWhen they first meet, the kid's built a miniature cyclotron. Don't worry, it's the same model of a satellite that was used in a dozen other shows, and yeah it was pretty cheap of them to think they could fool anyone who was growing up in the space age.

Stu finds the guy who's bugged their room, and tries stealing the recorded tapes. These tapes don't have any evidence of anything on them, and who's going to prove that it's against the law? He gets in a fight with the guy, and he's a public relations man; essentially, a wimp. Nevertheless,. Stu has to fight for his life. An old O.S.S. man, and professional P.I., and he can't put this clown in the dirt?

Stu has a sexetary that's a real pretty blonde, but he doesn't get anywhere with her in the beginning or end of the show; that proves at least she's got some brains. Stu and Ruta get the kid back, and Mommy and Daddy are happy again. They shoulda put Lassie on the job. Then the kid woulda been safe. Oh, yeah, did I fail to mention the reason the kid needed looking after was because M+D were squabbling? Yup, ain't that sad?

What's sad is that Warner, and Jack Webb couldn't figure out a way to fix the initial problems, keep the necessary people from the first episodes, and run the series with decent writers. Dump Roger Smith and Robert Logan, and demand quality stories and action. This time, I MEAN IT. No more; I mean it was a real disappointment about miss Lee. I stayed up for it, and for what? another phony happy ending. BAH!

P.S., tying a sheepshank is not a necessary skill until going for a merit badge.
