Very Hard to Watch
Hitchcoc1 February 2019
This takes place primarily in the CTU where that invader left the nerve gas. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to have anything in place to combat this. There were numerous casualties. I once again hope I never see Kim Bauer again. She and her lack of basic gratitude doesn't need to be part of this. There is a lot of heroism in this episode. Meanwhile, the Vice President is showing his ambition, knowing that the President is really a wimp. There are shakeups coming at CTU very soon. And then there is Collette.

And the hits just keep on comin'
Mr-Fusion15 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
For an episode confined (almost entirely( within the walls of CTU, this is a scorcher. It's all on Jack to crawl through the ducts and vent the nerve gas. And even though this show has never wavered in its dumping on Jack, he just seems to shoulder everything here.

SPOILERS

A daughter that doesn't want to be near him, a containment situation that continues to worsen, asking someone else to die instead of him because he's out of reach, and having a friend die in his arms . . . it's nuts!

There's plenty of emotion in this one and it mixes beautifully with the action. For chalking up two more good guys, it is massively entertaining.

Slow paced episode, lotta deaths Warning: Spoilers
Basically Lynn died and some random security guard after stopping the gas. The rest of the episode was just spent on the characters reacting to each other stuck in small space (Jack choking out Kims bf was funny af) and Jack holding his breath with a usual cliffhanger at the end.

To Interestingstuff reviewer that's on this same page, bro did you EVEN WATCH THE EPISODE? The stuff that happens in this is too unrealistic? All anyone did this episode was hold their breath for like 3 minutes, if you wanted to make this point why not cry about the episode where Jack blew up a helicopter with a freaking pistol? And what the shows bad because the action is over exaggerated? Like every other good action movie/tv show? This show hasn't hit Die Hard 5 levels of boring set pieces and you picked the wrong episode to complain about anyway. Just hating.

He releases the syringe contents against Tony. Tony falls on the floor. Henderson takes a gun and run away. Jack reaches the room soon after wards, he finds Tony on the floor in a bad condition. Tony closes his eyes while Jacks hugs him and cries.

Kim

I don't like the writing of Kim's character. She has always been unable to follow her father's orders to "tell no one". She's a weak link.

Can't wait to see Collette in the next...
TodoSan16 March 2006
Great episode. Seems like everything is falling apart for the team. Couldn't believe the percentage of knock outs. Fatherly. Chivalry. Psychiatry. By the way, I can't wait to see Collette, played by Stana Katic, in the next one. Hope she has a more active role. Can't wait to see what else is in store for the team. And if the outside take over will prove successful...Martha, the presidents wife, needs to take charge of her dingle president though. Sean Astin had a patriotic role which was nice. Wish Bauer would have known how to handle his daughter a little better.

Cheers.

This whole show is a joke
interestingstuff23 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A guy in coma whose nervous system is about to shut up and literally dying just opens his eyes, wakes up, attacks Tony, steals his gun and runs away.

As everybody already knows by now, 24 is a joke but this episode goes even beyond becoming a joke. It's a whole new level. It's literally a cartoon. If you liked this joke of an episode, I suggest you to watch American Dad which is less cartoony than this episode.

Literally nothing that happened during this episode (or the whole season) makes ANY sense at all. It should be rated 1/10 if not for the diehard fanboys who literally believe Jack Bauer exists in real life.
