Jack Bauer : I need you to listen to me. Hector and Ramón are trying to buy a virus to use as a weapon: millions of people could die. I set up this deal so my government can take control of the virus and destroy it. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Claudia Hernandez : You're still with CTU?

Michael Amador : Hello Jack, so these must be the buyers you're representing?

Jack Bauer : [Introducing them] this is Hector and Ramon Salazar

Jack Bauer : [after taking out a white envelop] there's a hundred million dollars in escrow accounts in Geneva and Hong Kong: we're prepared to give immediate instructions to have the money transferred as soon as we have confirmation that the virus has been delivered

Michael Amador : There's been a "complication", another buyer's interested in the virus

Jack Bauer : What're you talking about? We have a deal

Hector Salazar : What's going on Jack?

Jack Bauer : I don't know

Michael Amador : I have nothing to do with it. This is a new development, it just surfaced in the last few hours. We'll hold an auction and the virus will go to the highest bidder. Mr. Salazar, I'm only representing the wishes of my client

Hector Salazar : Something like that

Ramon Salazar : [after Nina steps out of the SUV and Jack briefly faces away] you know her?

Nina Myers : [after seeing Jack] the hell is he doing here? That man is a federal agent

Michael Amador : I know who he is: everything's fine

Nina Myers : [to her bodyguard] you have to kill him

Michael Amador : [to Nina's bodyguard and Salazar's men after they raise their guns at each other] first man to fire gets cut down, that's a promise

Nina Myers : [Referring to Jack] why is he here?

Michael Amador : He represents a buyer, just like you

Nina Myers : No, he doesn't. Believe me, I know him whatever he told you his lying

Jack Bauer : [Walking up to her] I don't work for CTU anymore Nina, I work for myself

Michael Amador : [while she walk away] Nina, please

Jack Bauer : Let her go and honor the original agreement

Michael Amador : Nina, I don't think your clients are going to be too happy if you walk out and let the virus go to another buyer

Cale : [Reminding her] we've got to close this deal

Michael Amador : We have a wide perimeter, look outs everywhere, and we're monitoring every frequency. There's no local military within twenty-five kilometers, you know how I work. This area is completely secure, if I have the slightest doubt I wouldn't be here. I suggest we all take a few moments to calm ourselves and I'll explain the ground rules and proceed with the bids agreed?

Ramon Salazar : Agreed

Michael Amador : Good

Michael Amador : [Before Jack and Nina hand him their bids with the amount written inside] let me see them

Michael Amador : The banks will verify the presence of these funds?

Jack Bauer : Yes that is correct

Nina Myers : The bank will verify those as well

Michael Amador : [to Jack] your bid is two hundred and twenty-five million dollars
