A plan is hatched to get Colonel Von Strom and Gruber back into the fold. Herr Flick undergoes something of a change.
I had always thought, from memory that this final series wasn't very good, however, this first episode was actually much, much better than I remembered, I really enjoyed it, it's funny, it's well made, it's full of charm.
My main issue was always Gibson's departure, but credit to David Janson, I thought he did a really good job here, he recently impressed and Hitler's double, vocally he did a good job.
Several funny scenes throughout, I did laugh at that scene where everyone assumed that the worst had happened.
A solid start to the last series, 7/10.
