Bachelor Nation star Rachel Recchia blames Bip cancellation on ‘stupid’ Season 9. What went wrong on her season of the show? Keep reading for her thoughts on the spinoff.
Bachelor In Paradise Put On Pause?
Bachelor In Paradise should be celebrating its 10th season this year. However, as time goes on without ABC renewing the spinoff, fans think the show has been shelved for this year.
Similar to the way Bravo has been putting shows or even cast members on ‘pause’ lately, it seems ABC is doing the same with Bip. Season 9 wasn’t well-received by fans and even worse, all three of the final couples broke up within days of the season finale airing.
Rachel Recchia Blames Cancellation On ‘Stupid’ Season 9
Rachel Recchia was one of the contestants on Season 9 of Bip. Her being there was a big deal because she was previously the co-lead on Season 19 of The Bachelorette with Gabby Windey.

Lady Gaga is standing up in support of Dylan Mulvaney.
The 37-year-old “Stupid Love” singer shared a photo with the 27-year-old trans TikTok sensation on social media, after Dylan posted a photo of the two together and wished everyone a Happy International Women’s Day on March 8, resulting in tons of anti-transgender hate comments.
“It’s appalling to me that a post about National Women’s Day by Dylan Mulvaney and me would be met with such vitriol and hatred,” Gaga began in a caption.
Keep reading to find out more…
“When I see a newspaper reporting on hatred but calling it ‘backlash’ I feel it is important to clarify that hatred is hatred, and this kind of hatred is violence. ‘Backlash’ would imply that people who love or respect Dylan and me didn’t like something we did. This is not backlash. This is hatred,” she continued.

Earlier today Ryan Gosling’s showcase song in Barbie, “I’m Just Ken” was nominated for a Grammy, and now proving that the versatile star is a lot more than “just Ken”, he has been named recipient of the 16th Annual Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence In Film presented by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
The award, which benefits Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s year-round educational programs, will be presented on Saturday January 13, 2024 at a black-tie dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara. In addition to continuing the tradition of this award named for the legendary star, this marks the second time since the passing of Douglas that the honor will be awarded.

This Halloween season, Bloody Disgusting and Screambox are bringing Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls to theaters (Oct. 19), a gateway horror film that wears its ’80s/’90s influences on its sleeves.
Based on writer, director, and star Andrew Bowser’s viral internet character of the same name, Onyx tells the story of an amateur occultist who learns that sometimes, when you raise Hell…you get a little burned.
“Onyx the Fortuitous is struggling to find purpose with his soul-devouring side gig when he receives a coveted invitation to the mansion of his idol, Bartok the Great. Here, he joins Bartok and his mysterious delegation to raise the spirit of an ancient demon for a once-in-a-lifetime ritual.”
In the new clip, Onyx (Bowser) witnesses something horrific and stumbles into a room, going on a fright-filled tangent: “I love the mechanics of these vintage lamps!”
The clip puts the incredible practical effects on display,...

Barbie may be everything, and Ken is just Ken, but what about the people in the Real World they meet along the way? Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, based on the popular dolls, is a hyper-stylized take on the Mattel toys that sees the titular doll journey from Barbie Land to the Real World on a quest of self-discovery.
This movie definitely looks the part, but it wouldn’t be what it is without its incredible all-star cast full of award-winning actors and familiar faces. Here’s what you need to know about the Barbie characters and the actors who play them.
Margot Robbie is Barbie
In addition to producing the movie, Margot Robbie plays a Barbie doll who has an existential crisis and is forced to go on a journey from Barbie Land to the Real World to find answers. She’s everything, but is that enough? Robbie is most...

Rainn Wilson is opening up about his mental health during the years he was filming The Office.
The actor who gave life to Dwight Schrute throughout the nine seasons of the U.S. remake of the British sitcom created by Ricky Gervais was on the Bill Maher podcast Club Random where he revealed that being on the show felt like “wasn’t enough” to him professionally.
“When I was in The Office, I spent several years really mostly unhappy because it wasn’t enough,” Wilson said.
He added, “I’m on one of the great TV shows. People love it. I wasn’t enjoying it. I was thinking about, ‘Why am I not a movie star? Why am I not the next Jack Black or the next Will Ferrell? How come I can’t have a movie career? Why don’t I have this development deal?'”

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone have frequently collaborated with each other in movies. But Gosling once joked that their friendship could sometimes cause trouble when trying to do dramatic movie scenes.
Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling met for ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ Ryan Gosling | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Audiences saw Gosling and Stone collaborate for the first time in the 2011 romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid Love. Stone once confided that the film was also responsible for bringing the pair together.

As an unabashed fan of the insane, real-time thriller series, I loved Sutherland’s intense portrayal of an All-American hero who would stop at nothing to defend his country. After 24 left the air, Sutherland played a much different character in the political series Designated Survivor. Dungeons & Dragons is, by its very nature, undefinable. The world's most popular tabletop roleplaying game is a sandbox built on a never-ending pile of options, an opportunity for creative gamers to immerse themselves in fantasy fiction and tell a story together. There is no defined tone, no set-in-stone canon, no rules beyond the mechanics that allow a roll of the dice to determine disaster or triumph. There is no right way to play Dungeons & Dragons. Every group will be different. Every dungeon master will craft a tone unique to their table.
"Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein probably run one hell of a D&d session. Their interpretation of the game's infinite pool of fantastical options and monsters and adventures is powered by humor and heart, a take that is more "Princess Bride" with big action than grim 'n' gritty dark fantasy.

Emma Stone’s favorite place for sushi in Los Angeles is a no-frills spot in a Sunset Boulevard strip mall, tucked alongside a laser hair-removal clinic and a FedEx store. It’s here, having barely taken a seat, that she starts telling me about her hiatal hernia. “I can’t have spicy foods,” Stone says. The issue, it turns out, is that part of her stomach protrudes “into my esophagus,” which sounds gnarly but is actually pretty manageable, increased chances of acid reflux notwithstanding. “I was born with it,” Stone notes cheerfully.

British media personality and outspoken Twitter user Piers Morgan took to the social media platform on Thursday — to announce that he is sick of it, and has gone into “Twitter detox.”
Morgan offered a laundry list of topics that he had grown weary of, including “Trump Derangement Syndrome, Brexit hysteria” and “Omarosa bulls—.”

“I can’t stomach any more Trump Derangement Syndrome, Brexit hysteria, Omarosa bulls— or ‘Madonna inspired me to be f—ing annoying’ birthday tributes,” Morgan wrote.
“Frankly, I’m bored witless by all Your opinions…and by My opinions,” the “Good Morning Britain” personality continued. “So I’ve gone to this beach for a Twitter detox. Bye.”

After mostly focusing on animation, scripting Tangled, Bolt, Cars, and more, Dan Fogelman jumped into live-action with Crazy, Stupid, Love., and then soon followed with his directorial debut Danny Collins, a good-natured, affable showcase for Al Pacino. He’s now returning this fall with Life Itself–no relation to Roger Ebert–starring Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Mandy Patinkin, Olivia Cooke, Laia Costa, Annette Bening and Antonio Banderas.
Following a trailer debut on This is Us, Fogelman’s hit show, Amazon Studios has released the preview online. The story follows multiple generations and feels a bit like a more conventional version of Cloud Atlas with a heart-on-its-sleeve, wide-reaching scope. Still, Fogelman has proved that he can take on schmaltz with a certain charm, so hopefully that’s the case here. See the preview below.
Life Itself opens on September 21.

Even on one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, Tom Hanks still goes out of his way for his pals.
TV producer and screenwriter Dan Fogelman — the This Is Us creator, who has also worked on screenplays for Tangled, Crazy, Stupid, Love. and Cars — snapped a candid picture of Hanks, 61, at the Golden Globes on Sunday night carrying a tray of martinis to Steven Spielberg and others at his table.
The Post star (and possibly, maybe, future vice president) quickly earned plaudits for his generosity as Twitter users applauded his helping hands.

With reports of a Horrible Histories feature film in development, we salute the genius songs of a magnificent show...
Ah, Horrible Histories. The show that brings all the slapstick humour and wordplay of Blackadder and Monty Python to a young audience. It’s a rare and marvellously British televisual feast (points for citing the reference, there): a bunch of hugely talented actors charging around in historical outfits, singing songs and starring in genius pop culture-inspired spoofs to deliver the darker side of history to school children.

So Howard isn't crazy after all.
Tom almost let the cat out of the bag on The Blacklist: Redemption Season 1 Episode 5, but seeing the comic book peeking out of Scottie's magazine rack stopped him cold.
Howard even admitted early in the hour that he must sound crazy, handing Tom a piece of paper and talking about secret messages.
Then later when he talked about the comic book, that was all Tom needed to hear to realize that Howard really was a nutcase.
So he thought.
He finally had Scottie alone without any chance of interruption and he was going to tell her who he was when he caught the comic book out of the corner of his eye.
Imagine his surprise when he saw that the comic book actually existed. Lucky for him he was able to backtrack and say he wanted to talk about Liz and Agnes. (It's been...

The fear with Last Week Tonight is that it’s The Daily Show except once a week — a staggered timeline that would rob the basic news-punning format of its intrinsic topical punch. John Oliver’s new show has the familiar rhythms of the show that bore him: Description of news item, comical montage of actual news networks covering said news in an increasingly hysterical fashion, follow-up punchline. Oliver has been with The Daily Show since 2006; he’s one of the longest-serving correspondents, behind Stephen Colbert and the eternal Bee/Jones double act. The first episode of his HBO series didn...

Like 10p Chomps, Lee Ryan's dignity and Shia Labeouf's acting career, we thought we'd seen the last of Saturday morning children's TV shows.
However, ITV went and surprised us all at the end of last year by announcing Scrambled, their attempt to revive the much-loved and much-missed TV format.
Can it revive the glory days of Live and Kicking and Sm:tv? It can if it follows our 'How to' guide to making a dream Saturday morning kids show. If you followed all these guidelines, there would be no better way to kick off your weekend.
1. There must be gunge. Lots of gunge.
It will probably also have to involve Peter Simon. The No.1 King of Gunge in the '90s. What self-respecting child of the '90s didn't want to push him in a load of blue gunk on the set of Run the Risk?

What does it mean to be cool? It's pretty damn subjective. So when compiling our list of the 25 coolest people making movies right now (somebody had to do it, right?), we accounted for various factors.
These are the actors who not only impress us onscreen (though that helps), but convey a certain genuineness off it, be it at awards shows, on TV appearances or during our own personal experiences interviewing them. They can be multi-talents, also excelling at music, art or writing. And they can make a habit of turning up in hilarious viral videos or even at your local karaoke bar.
But most of all, these are the 25 actors we'd really just like to sit down and have a beer with.
Welcome to NextMovie's 1st annual Cool List – and let us know who makes your own list in the comments section below.

Matthew Mitcham won't have time to rest after the 2012 Olympics, because he's just been named an ambassador, along with speed skater Blake Skjellerup, to the 2014 Out Games, which will be held in Akron and Cleveland. Oddly, I think geographically, I'm the closest AfterElton.com editor to cover the games. Just putting that idea out there.
The Simpsons are going to do a Dexter skit for the new Tree House of Horror. Guess who the killer is played by? Stupid bloody Flanders.
If the National Organization for Marriage isn't a religious organization, why are they defining their mission by quoting Genesis? What's even scarier is that they think they can control the entire country with a fanatical 10% of the population.
What makes a car gay? According to the author of this piece, evidently having $80k to drop on a BMW works. When I lived in DuPont Circle, all the boys drove Vw Jettas,...

First off, I’m back! I ran down to lovely Lexington, Va to talk to OUTLaw, the Glbt student organization at Washington & Lee University. They were great people, and didn’t throw rotten vegetables at me, so I think we had a really great talk about bullying, suicide, and Glee. Many thanks to Emerald, David, Chad, Anthony and everyone else for having me.
Mike O’Malley has a great interview about playing Burt Hummel and how much the show means, and how he and Chris Colfer go about all those heavy scenes. But what really got me was when he was discussing the sex education talk Burt and Kurt had, and how sex ed talks between parents and kids focus on the bad things. “And look — parents don’t want their kids having sex. If they did, they’d teach them technique! I don’t care how open-minded you are.
