It felt like the fan favorite of episode 4 on “The Masked Singer” was that tall colorful Kitty. She definitely added a purr-fectly sultry air to the show while belting out Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman,” and the crowd jumped to their feet and looked joyful. But, those clues were a head banger.
SEEWho’s the ‘ribbiting’ Frog on ‘The Masked Singer’? We examine the clues
This little kitty voiced a fondness for the peculiar and says she feels comfy “among the weird.” She also said something about a transformation and voiced how people don’t think of her as the “person she’s become” but rather as the “person she once was.” She was poised, had great stage presence and she really wails on the high notes.
But who is she? In her clue segment she was shown in a theater and there was a clip of her fighting pirates.

Maybe mentally. He did have a tapped ‘r’, because his first years there was German in it, but it was only the hint of it, I didn’t overtly push it.

Pamela Adlon, “Better Things”
Compared to Adlon’s “Louie” character, the actress’ new role as single mom Sam is just as blunt and borderline provocative but far less intimidating. In fact, she’s kind of adorable in a painfully put-upon but unapologetic way. The semi-autobiographical story has us cringing alongside every embarrassing audition, parental freakout and unfair setback, and yet, Sam’s integrity and backhanded optimism is apparent in that she doesn’t give up, but instead copes (with vodka, but copes nonetheless). Sam is the promise of “Louie’s” Pamela fully realized.

Kristen Bell, “The Good Place”
Bell came of age playing a girl sleuth on “Veronica Mars” and then pulled a 180 by embracing a truly adult role as the ruthless but complex Jeannie on Showtime’s “House of Lies.

Much as the horror genre is deeply rooted in the evolving culture that creates it, NBC‘s latest “action-drama,” American Odyssey, builds itself from the conspiracy fears that are now equally laughed off and assumed to be obviously true.
Sgt. Odelle Ballard (Anna Friel, “Pushing Daisies”) is part of a group that stumbles upon an Al Qaeda’s top commander, but she quickly discovers intel that suggests an American corporation is funding the group. A private military company comes to clean up, and Odelle’s company is killed to cover things up. She escapes, but now she’s on the run, and a long way from home, and doesn’t have anyone she can trust.
Meanwhile, back at home, former U.S. Attorney Peter Decker (Peter Facinelli) is in the middle of a merger with the same company that apparently funded the jihadists, and he starts to put the pieces...

NBC has tweaked the title of its upcoming drama Odyssey less than a month before its premiere, renaming the show American Odyssey.
Though the network declined to comment on what spurred the name change, sources close to the production say the new title better reflects the arduous journey of protagonist Odelle (Anna Friel), an American soldier beset by enemies on all sides as she attempts to return to her friends and family in New York.
Of course, the more cynical answer is that NBC execs weren’t living under a rock in January, when American Sniper stormed the box office and racked up Oscar nominations. Renaming the show American Odyssey may make the series more palatable to the same right-leaning audiences that sent Sniper soaring.

After years of being stuck in development hell, a TV adaptation of the awesome and acclaimed Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming graphic novel Powers is finally moving forward. The ten-episode series will air on the Playstation Network, with Bendis and Oeming executive producing. Those actors are Eddie Izzard (Hannibal, The Riches), Noah Taylor (Edge of Tomorrow, Game of Thrones), and Olesya Rulin (Greek, High School Musical). They join The Following and 666 Park Avenue actress Susan Heyward, who has already been cast as the series’ co-lead, Deena Pilgrim.

Minnie Driver has had quite the career, and she's done so rather quietly. She's racked up nominations for an Emmy ("The Riches"), Golden Globe ("The Riches"), a SAG Award ("Good Will Hunting") and an Oscar ("Good Will Hunting"). Now she's in the awards race again with NBC's "About a Boy" and a new drama airing on Lifetime this Saturday. Driver has better odds for her turn as Maggie Royal in Lifetime's event film "Return to Zero." Based on director Sean Hanish's personal experience with losing a child, the heart-wrenching film marks the network's first global premiere this Saturday, May 17th. Driver took a few minutes to talk to Indiewire about the difficulties involved with making the feature, her love of "About a Boy," and why an Emmy would matter not only to her, but everyone who supported the film. "Return to Zero" was partially funded through Kickstarter. How did that come about?...

From the producer who brought you The Woman In Black and Let Me In comes the unnerving tale of The Quiet Ones. Tucked away in an estate outside of London, Professor Coupland along with a team of university students conduct an “experiment” on Jane Harper, a young girl who harbors unspeakable secrets. What dark forces they uncover are more terrifying than any of them expected.
Prior to the film’s April 25th release, Wamg sat down with Jared Harris, who plays Professor Joseph Coupland, in a small roundtable to discuss horror films, fight scenes, and watching his own movies with an audience. Check it out below.
Inspired by true events, the film stars Jared Harris (Mad Men and Sherlock Homes: A Game of Shadows), Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel), and is directed by John Pogue from a screenplay by Craig Rosenberg and Oren Moverman and John Pogue,...

Brice Johnston came onto Survivor: Cagayan wearing bright purple pants, but such attire was not the loudest thing about him. Even months after being eliminated from the show, Brice still has some choice words for his former Beauty tribe, and he shared those words when he called into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) today to discuss his early exit. Whether he is blasting Alexis and Jefra for their lack of work ethic, slamming Jeremiah for…well, being Jeremiah, or just talking smack about everyone in general, Brice is ready to let her rip. And you can hear the rippage...
