great parody

This film not only works as an attack on art films, but because of the quality of production, it can double as an art film itself. Though some of the scenes are a bit squirmy, it was altogether wonderfully entertaining. By it's use of art film stereo-type images and production techniques, it comes off as an art film. Of course that just adds to the hilarity. The acting serves it's purpose exquisitely. This is the only film that has a scene of an explosion of an atomic bomb that I laugh out loud at. The humor could be interpreted as coarse and immature, however because of the purpose of the film it fits perfectly well in context. I can easily see why it was excepted and shown at the Denver International Film Festival. Every time I watch this, I find something new. I enjoy it every time.
