I think this might be a double con. We're being led to believe it's a reality TV show, but it isn't.
None of the participants seem to have even tried to learn easy Russian. When you learn a language, your instinct is to try it. None of them did.
Were there no geeks? No-one seemed surprised to be met in central Russia by a British registered S61R (as opposed to a Mil 8). No-one was surprised to see a Bristish tank amongst the Russian equipment.
And no-one was surprised by the gravity thing? And no-one's done a web search on this enterprise? And despite the fact these guys responded to an advert, no-one in the Brit press picked up on the advert? Could turn out to be wrong, but it seems fishy.
