Lost Vampire
UnknownDoomer26 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
A trashy action movie with horror elements. Two vampire hunters arrive in a small port city in search of their target, ordered by a local authority. One of them dies almost immediately and the remaining taciturn comrade, in the person of Alexei Serebryakov, alone has to think through further steps and explore the area where the local mafia has crushed the main areas of activity. Almost everyone here do not like he appear in the city, from representatives of criminal elements, some of whom the sought-after subject managed to turn into his own kind, to the police, so that the initially seemingly ordinary task turns out to be much more difficult to complete.

In general can say that despite the clearly unusual combination, one should not expect any revelations in general, given the state of local cinema at that moment; in addition, it is necessary to make a separate allowance for the genre, which is generally poorly developed in our area. When it comes to pure mysticism, then, in principle, you can count on a certain result, but if we are talking about horror in a conventionally Western manner, then... good luck. The somewhat technogenic soundtrack of the "Tequilajazz" group, although it adds to the atmosphere, also does not really save the situation, nor does the unexpected twist at the end of the film.
