The unveilings continue for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" with today's dwarf pictorial coming from Time Magazine.
Their photo shows the dwarf lords Balin (Ken Stott) and Dwalin (Graham McTavish), brothers who are close relatives and the "most loyal and trusted friends" of the Company's leader Thorin Oakshield.
Balin has fought many battles but harbors doubts about their quest, Dwalin has no such doubts and is a strong fighter with a distrust of all non-Dwarves - especially Elves.
Both Stott and McTavish are Scottish actors best known for their TV work but have had plenty of big screen experience as well.
Stott is mostly known for British police dramas such as taking over the title role in the detective series "Rebus" from "The Mummy" actor John Hannah in 2006 and 2007. Stott also scored much acclaim and an award nomination for his work as Di Chappell in ITV police...

Other choice picks include Werner Herzog's must-see crime flick Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans starring Nicolas Cage, the first season of the Starz comedy series Party Down, and The Yes Men Fix the World documentary. Do you see anything else worth renting or buying this week? Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans [1] (+ Blu-ray [2]) The Collector [3] (+ Blu-ray [4]) Dolan's Cadillac [5] (+ Blu-ray [6]) Harlem Aria [7] Jade Warrior [8] National Lampoon's Ratko, The Dictator's Son [9] The Weathered Underground [10] The Yes Men Fix the World [11] Dirt! We've reached the magical time of year when Easter candy lines the shelves and if you're lucky enough to live in an area with a good sized Jewish population, there may even be Passover Coke. "What is Passover Coke?" I can hear some of you asking. At the risk of causing the Jewish readers of Pajiba to come after me for revealing this secret to any goyim not already aware of it, Passover Coke is special Coke made in Israel with real sucrose rather than high fructose corn syrup. Very similar to Mexican Coke, for those of you lucky enough to live near the border. Look for yellow caps with Hebrew on them, and double check the label to be sure. It's absolutely delicious and one of the things I love about spring. Along with Cadbury eggs, Starburst jelly beans and Reeses eggs. I may have a bit of a sweet tooth.
