Sex & Nudity

  • No sex or nudity is shown, although it is implied that the main character (a 21-year-old girl) and her boyfriend are sleeping together. More specifically, he is her teacher's assistant in one of her college classes, which may bring up questions of morality.
  • A 7-year-old little girl gives an oral presentation to her class about sex, to prove where babies really come from. She brings a visual aide of a semi-nude woman, but it is only briefly shown on screen, and we don't see much of anything. However, the teacher does look at it and comment that the woman in the picture looks a lot better than his own "flabby" mother.
  • A young college couple kiss in a few scenes.
  • A middle-aged woman flirts occasionally.

Violence & Gore

  • Characters sometimes get in screaming matches, although there is no punching or physical violence of any kind. The characters just yell and occasionally say things like "I hate you"!

Profanity

  • Very mild language. A few uses of the word "ass".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • None. It is implied that college student Olivia likes to go out and party with her friends, but we don't actually see them in a bar or anything.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A young married couple get in a car accident and die early in the movie. The car crash is not seen, and there is no indication of alcohol, but someone does say that the husband tended to drive too fast. The reception after the funeral is shown, and some people are crying, including the husband's daughter.
  • Shortly after her parents die, a 7-year-old little girl has a nightmare that she was lost and her father couldn't find her. She wakes up crying and visibly shaken.
