Weird In A Great Way
crafterdot28 December 2010
I'm writing a review on this movie because I have heard it's hard to get and there aren't many reviews for it. My friend Matt actually bought a copy on e-bay. That's how I saw it. He's a big fan of "Night Of The Day Of The Dawn...Part 2." Anyway, "Night Of The...Part 3" is actually one of the weirdest films I have ever seen but I really really liked it. It's a little bit like Woody Allen's "What's Up Tiger Lilly?" where it's the re-dubbing of an old movie but with "Night Of The...Part 3" there are also little weird movies that kind of pop in every once in a while. After watching those big budget Hollywood movies that usually end up being real let downs it's good to see a movie that doesn't take itself seriously and makes fun of everything, including itself. I understand now why these "Night Of The Day Of The Dawn..." movies have a cult following. There's nothing else like them out there. That in itself makes me want to give it a "thumbs up!"

It's so funny!

I saw this at the Cornelia Street Cafe recently. I couldn't stop laughing!!!! The crowd was really into it too. I heard that it was a sequel to another movie that had been made a while ago, but I'm not sure if that's true. I expected a horror movie, but it was really a comedy. Anybody who loves a great horror spoof should not miss it! The voices in the dubbing are so funny and the shorts that run throughout the movie are quirky and fun too. I never saw the original movie that this is taken from, but I don't think it could be any better than this version. It keeps you interested and amused. It's such a different kind of movie, and I think that is why I liked it so much.
