Intended as an exhibition to filmmakers of the 1920's designed to illustrate the diverse uses for Brewster Color (such as for cartoons, advertising spots in theaters and location shootings).
The print released on DVD was copied at 22 frames per second from a 35mm color print that is preserved at the George Eastman House.
The effect is achieved by having the camera expose two rolls of film simultaneously via a single prismatic lens that split light through two filters, red and green.
One of the 50 films in the 3-disk boxed DVD set called "More Treasures from American Film Archives, 1894-1931" (2004), compiled by the National Film Preservation Foundation from 5 American film archives. This film has a running time of 4 minutes, an added piano music score, and is preserved by the George Eastman House.
