Marvel officially announced their full slate of projects for Phase 4 of the McU earlier this month, with 5 movies and 5 TV shows set to arrive over the years 2020 and 2021. However, this is just the beginning of the future for the never-ending franchise, according to one exec.
Victoria Alonso, Marvel Studios’ executive vice president of physical production, delivered a keygraph at the Siggraph conference and teased that there is “so much more to come” once Phase 4 wraps up. As we’ve reported elsewhere, Alonso believes there’s enough clout in the Marvel universe to make sure that it lasts for pretty much all of eternity.
“There are so many stories to tell. The thing about Marvel is we have 6,000 characters in our library. There will be children forever telling these stories.” She also quipped that at Marvel, “dying is just a state of mind.”

“On this day. In this time. At this moment.” And you thought commemorative Summit coins were flashy! The new trailer for President Donald Trump’s meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un just dropped, and it’s a doozy.
Banal sloganeering slathered over a litany of overfamiliar footage! Tense piano notes giving way to a furious volley of synthesized sturm und drang followed by cascades of cautious but hopeful uplift! Internationally recognizable boldface names! And it’s not a Marvel movie?
Okay, okay—complex global diplomacy isn’t usually reduced to the kind of propagandistic oversimplification best left to Hollywood. And the...

In the multiverse, Daredevil has been an undead mass murderer, a samurai warrior, a blind prize fighter, an Agent of Shield, and more.
Daredevil is setting the world on fire. The Netflix series, long the center of the Marvel Netflix universe is enjoying its most acclaimed season ever with the recent release of season three. It was only fitting that he was chosen as leader of The Defenders, since Daredevil is sort of like the king of Marvel’s street level characters.
Sure, Spider-Man is more popular, but Matt Murdock is known for his rough life and being fate's punching bag even more than Peter Parker. Unfortunately for him, it’s not just the universe that rarely cuts him any slack, but the multiverse as well. Daredevil has starred in a handful of stories in Marvel’s What If? series and they aren’t always sunshine and lollypops.
