Jailed actor Lillo Brancato Jr.'s performance has been chopped from the last movie he shot before his arrest for a burglary that ended with the murder of an off-duty New York cop.The former Sopranos star wrapped his part in comedy Saturday Morning before the December 2005 incident, in which officer Daniel Enchautegui was fatally shot.
Brancato Jr. was later cleared of murder and last month jailed for 10 years for the lesser charge of attempted burglary.
But Saturday Morning director Rob E. Greenberg has reduced the star's role to a series of walk-ons in time for the film's DVD release next month.

Actor Lillo Brancato's screen time in new movie Saturday Morning has been dramatically reduced by the film's outraged director - following his implication in the killing of a New York police officer.
The 31-year-old Bronx star - who is awaiting trial in the shooting death of New York Police Department Detective Daniel Enchautegui - was due to feature predominantly in the film, alongside George Wendt and Beth Ostrosky.
However, director Rob Greenberg has limited Brancato's role to "a series of walk-ons" because he can't give exposure to a man allegedly responsible for such a heinous crime.
He tells New York gossip column PageSix.com, "My brother-in-law is on the force. I felt absolutely horrible when I heard about (the killing). I just kept thinking about him, my sister, and especially my nephews."
Greenberg will fill in the gaps left by Brancato's axed scenes with a mixture of creative editing and the use of voice-overs.

Emmy-winning writer-producer Rob Greenberg has inked a rich blind-script deal with CBS Paramount Network TV. The pact, said to be in the high-six figures, came after spirited bidding from several studios. The commitment marks Greenberg's return to television after he took a 16-month hiatus to focus on features, including doing rewrites and directing his first feature, Saturday Morning, which he also penned. In TV, Greenberg most recently served as executive producer showrunner on the pilot for CBS' comedy How I Met Your Mother. After a promising start, the series is returning for a second season in the fall.
