Very very funny

Warning: Spoilers
This series is absolutely hilarious. A mix of video piracy, adventurers, "noviy russkiy" (nouveaux riches in Russia) of a very special kind, travel, cultural shocks. The first episode starts at a very good level. The second is disconnected, letting us hoping that the connection with the first episode will appear at each moment, but ... no. Then, piece after piece, the puzzle-story is built reaching its climax in the last episodes. A very classical construction of a comedy-thriller, with contrast, laugh, suspense, classics (police pursuit, mission: impossible scenes, and even a Colombian equivalent of Scrat from Ice age), but as well good clichés on e.g. central-Asia mentality (philosophizing in the middle of the action), gangs wars, Russian piracy, ...

Waste of time...

I am sorry to say that – I seen this movie and its one of the worst Russians movies or mini-series I have seen so far. I was really disappointed with this movie it's beginning looks somewhat interesting – 1st episode is OK, but at the middle of the 2nd episode – when everything stops making any point and new ridiculous characters get introduced in to the movie you realize that this is going to be a waste of your time. Over the top characters they have in this movie and the runaway script with hundreds of cheesy twists really had me questioning what where director smoking, while he was shooting this movie.

Sorry I can't tell if Tarantino made an appearance in this movie - I could only make myself watch 4 out of 8 episodes. If he did, he clearly didn't read the script in English
