I saw this last year. I used to live in the Twin Cities and was well aware of the local comic. The casting was good. The actors that they picked were just as I envisioned them. The short was boring though. I don't know how involved that comic artist was, but I would have really liked to see more local references in it. For those of you who don't know the Twin Cities, uptown is the urban epicenter for the younger crowd. More local flair would have added just that little something extra. The animation sequences were pretty sweet. The ending was.. well... not really an ending. Sulky Girl suddenly decides not to be so sulky anymore and everything just "works out." I call that a lazy ending.
